Cambodia Bike Tour to Bangkok 8 days
Detailed Itinerary
In Cambodia Part.
1st day: Biking from Phnom-Penh Capital to Kompong-Thom (50 ~ 90km, L).
Our team depart early and go up to Northern national road N5 (transfer over an antique Japanese Bridge) to begin our travels through Khmer country-side. We arrive at Prek-Phnov where we take unpaved roads passing local communes and rice-paddies.
2nd day: Biking from Kompong-Thom to Siem-Reap (45 ~ 100km, B, L).
This cycling day will begin after a short transfer to the direction of Siem-Reap. We stop in a small downtown Stoung & start riding upto 100km to the Angkor-city. This long way but you'll have some shadow-trees as cycling beneath the road-side palms past Preah-Pros Lake & Kompong-Svay. We’ll stay this night in Siem-Reap.
3rd day: Biking Angkor-Wat Complex Temples fullday (25 ~ 40km. B, L).
We will spend this day at the temple complex at Angkor-Wat. @ngkor Wat is one of the best-preserved & the most impressive temples in the region; the climb up the narrow steps of the central spire is well worth the view over the whole complex surrounded by jungle.
4th day: Biking from Siem-Reap to Battambang ( 40 ~ 60km. B, L).
On the fourth day, we’ll have another break from riding and visit the floating village before heading across the lake to Battembang. Battembang is Cambodia's second capital. It’s a sleepy city full of faded colonial charm. We’ll stay there overnight.
5th day: Biking from Battambang to Pailin (50 ~ 90km. B, L).
We’ll saddle up in the morning and ride south to Pailin. The road, at times, is in poor condition but the scenery is most impressive as we head towards Thailand. We will cross streams and bridges and really get a feeling of riding into uncharted territory.
